Hazy light copper with a medium off white head. Flavor is lightly bitter with some light caramel and white pepperiness. Not pale enough to compete with Bud, Miller, or Coors. tupalev (2617), Waterloo, Ontario, Canada
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 10, 2007 On tap at Victory Cafe. Nice golden amber pour, good sized white head. Very fruity aroma, slightly sweet. Taste is good - crisp, yet medium bodies, lots of sweetness and a good hop bite - mix in some fruit (apple mostly) and this is one satisfying full flavoured session lager! Man these guys are knocking lower alcohol style beer sout of the park, aren’t they? Great job Grand River, nice and fresh and in great shape at the Victory as well. mabel (2612), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Distinct yeast aroma with a bit of fruity apple or hops. Clear, orange amber body with a medium-lasting foamy off-white head. More fruity apple juice yeast flavour with a smooth finish. Medium body is fairly grainy. Quite nicely put together. GregClow (2496), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 18, 2007 Draught sample at the brewery. Burnished golden-amber with a small head. Aroma is soft, fresh and balanced, with a yeasty tinge and a hint of fruit. Very good mouthfeel, full without being heavy. Flavour is very fresh and lively, some solid fruity malts and a smoothly hopped finish. Gotta love a brewery that makes something like this as their "mainstream" offering... kmweaver (2465), Sebastopol, California, USA

Pours a slightly hazy golden color; solidly formed white head with good retention and fine-bubbled lacing. Solid mineral bitterness and light malts in the aroma; dry, crisp. Medium mouthfeel: lots of mineral bitterness, light citrus, some solid, mouthwatering acidity; touches of a mild metallic note that melds closely with the minerals; highly drinkable, lively carbonated, pretty tasty lager. Medium finish: lasting mineral bitterness, with a note of dry, toasty maltiness coming through at the far end. Boutip (2369), Gatineau, Quebec, Canada
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 24, 2008 Bottle courtesy of Derek: Poured a clear dirty golden color lager with a good size foamy head with good retention and minimal lacing. Aroma consists of medium sweet malt with some light floral notes. Taste is also a mix between some medium sweet and lightly floral malt with some light dry crisp hops. Body is quite full for the style with some great carbonation. Well done for the style but a little more crisp hops would have elevated this to a great status. radiomgb (1999), Peterborough, Ontario, Canada

The aroma is light, some grass, flowers, pale malts, lightly sweet. The flavour is a little bland, some caramel sweetness, light grassy hops. Light nearing watery mouthfeel, light body, mild carbonation. Finishes lightly hopped, very mild. A tasty lager, a revisit is in the future.

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jan 15, 2008 At the brewery-Deep orange/amber body, pours a frothed rocky bleached white cap. The lacing and retention are excellent. Fresh fruity aroma, green apples, green leafy hops, lots of sugary malts leading to a touch of orange peel. There’s quite the balance in the flavour of subtle, off-dry malts, some fruit (pear, apple), some biscuit, with hearty doses of basil and leafy hops. Very refreshing, assertive, while at the same time being respectively "light". Another gem from this brewery!
