Commercial Description:
This is an easy drinking lager with a difference. There is lots of flavour and body that separates it from the rest. This well balanced beer has an excellent malty base with a pleasant hop balance that provides a nice response to the malt sweetness. The hops in this beer provide the balance and gives it a full flavour profile that most lagers in the market just don’t have. The colour, aroma and full flavour separates this lager from others and reminds beer drinkers that an easy drinking lager can have lots of flavour and character to think about.

Bottle courtesy of Derek: Poured a clear dirty golden color lager with a good size foamy head with good retention and minimal lacing. Aroma consists of medium sweet malt with some light floral notes. Taste is also a mix between some medium sweet and lightly floral malt with some light dry crisp hops. Body is quite full for the style with some great carbonation. Well done for the style but a little more crisp hops would have elevated this to a great status.

From a growler. (Thanks radiomgb). Copper orange with just a film of head. (Perhaps due to time spent in the growler). The aroma is of stale apple and fresh cut grass. The flavour is more malt than hops - the malt profile actually becomes quite nice as the beer warms. Nice bitter finish. As full-bodied a light lager as you’ll find. Very tasty and drinkable. Why don’t they bottle this stuff?

clear yellow, fluffy white head. Plain nose, slightly herbal, dried fruits, some citrus, soapy, bready. Bready taste as well, smooth and clean, balanced well, not an amazing beer but better than any other light lager ive tried.

Good natural bitterness for a lager without hopping, above average mouthfeel. Most smooth and drinkable

Golden coloured, thin white coloured head, very light to non-existent lacing. The aroma is light, some grass, flowers, pale malts, lightly sweet. The flavour is a little bland, some caramel sweetness, light grassy hops. Light nearing watery mouthfeel, light body, mild carbonation. Finishes lightly hopped, very mild. A tasty lager, a revisit is in the future.

In short: A tasty session lager. Well malted, well hopped but with a weird light acidic and comeback flavour. Good.
How: Bottle 500ml from matt7215, thanks a lot Matt. Consumed very fresh, bottling date October 01 2008, drank 13 days later (October 14 2008).
The look: Partly cloudy golden body topped by a medium off-white head
In long: Nose of a big rich citrusy hoppy lager. Ultra satisfying body, lots of crisp cereals and quite a bit of caramel for the style. Rich lager character. Hopping is citrusy with a hint of grapefruit and a light acidic touch (Syrian Golding?) and dry grass. Very mild bitterness head to head with the light acidity. Fruity caramel and earthy grass on the comeback. Something about the light acidity and the comeback didn’t sit well with me but overall this is a superior session lager. Finally a Town Hall I will gladly re-visit and not because of court citations.

Light golden colour with white head. Malty aroma with slight hints of grass. Lightly sweet and grassy flavour there is a little bready flavour going on. Good medium body.

Malty nose, dark amber, almost no head. Taste is candied malt, sweet, toasty, good.
