Commercial Description:
Au Naturale is an easy drinking, blonde ale. The ale has a crisp, clean body and a subtle malt sweetness. All organic German Pilsner, Vienna and CaraHell malts and German organic Hallertau hops are used for purity’s sake. The play on words lends itself not only to the organic ingredients in the beer, but also to the lifestyle of those of us who live at one with nature. Grab a bottle and join us in the hot spring!

yellowy orange pour with a small white head. lots of florals in the nose... mixed with pale malt, a touch of caramel and peaches. the flavor is a rather bland version of the aroma... mix in some orange, flowers and a distinct ashy characteristic akin to a cigarette butt in the bottom of the bottle...ick! there is some creaminess to the texture on the medium body. 5/3/4/3/10/2.5

9/22/09 picking up a distinct flavor of corn mash. the ash has disappeared but it is still not great. incredibly thick rich mouth feel when consumed straight from the bottle5/3/5/4/13/2.9

(bottle). Clear golden color. Medium white head. Light malt/grain aroma with very light fruitiness. Light balanced flavor of malt and hops. Avg duration. Smooth finish. Slick texture. Moderate carbonation. Fair lacing.

Pour is a cloudy orange with an average white head. Aroma is of some light grain and a small touch of citrus. Flavor is some biscuit malts and some sweetness. Not bad but also not good as there is nothing for you say wow that was a really good beer.

A bit of malt in the aroma in this. Definitely a lot of citrus and flowers in this. Okay, just not too exciting.

From Belmont Station in Portland, OR. Things looked promising from the outset, however this beer flattered only to deceive. Pouring a light yellow/gold body that was VERY cloudy, it was capped with a foamy white head, perhaps a finger’s thickness; this head did linger on for quite some time. The aroma almost wasn’t, perhaps some hint of sweetness wafted upwards but it nothing I could pin down. Taste, well, it was somewhat bitter and trended towards almost sour; the finish was likewise sour. Mouthfeel was thin, nearly watery. An underwhelming and unimpressive beer.

Bottle poured a clear gold with a lasting off white head. Aromas of straw, light yeast and a hint of spice. Palate was light bodied and smooth. Flavors of straw and light soice with a smooth dry finish.
