| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | May 9, 2009 Bottle from The Beer Authority, poured a brilliant golden color with a tight head. Not much in the way of flavor, a little biscuit following the sweet malt up front. SledgeJr (2960), Omaha, Nebraska, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 3, 2009 On tap at the KC Yard House. Pours dark gold with a diminishing white head. Has a mild caramel aroma. Medium-thin palate. Even though there’s not a thick body, it clearly has a malt presence. Finishes with a nice biscuit flavor. Surprisingly, this does not suck. And as promised, it does contain carbon (organic). I hate silicon-based beer, don’t you? kitschy (201), Nebraska, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 22, 2009 Sampled on 4/22/2009. This blond ale pours a slightly hazy orange gold color from a 12oz bottle. Small sized white foamy head with decent retention. The aroma is fruity and sweet, cereal and grain. A medium bodied blonde ale. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are slightly herbal and a touch floral. Nice balance. Decent carbonation. Nice blonde/golden ale, you don’t expect much complexity for a beer like this, but the flavors that are there are all nicely done. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet. JK (2952), Richfield, Minnesota, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 19, 2009 Good Hops and moderate malt from this beer. There is a little bitterness, like a good European pilsner. Dry, some flowers. Very good for an organic beer. Gregis (1132), Shawnee, Kansas, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Apr 11, 2009 Pours a hazy pale gold with a fizzy white head that collapses almost instantly. The nose is non-offensive, but there’s really not much there. Digging for an aroma I finally detect a sweet, lightly fruity malt note. Light-bodied and quite effervescent, it finishes with a clean almost neutral finish. The story on the flavor profile is as short as that of the aroma: sweet yeasty/doughy malt aaaaand...the end. There is a slight lingering doughy aftertaste. Zzzzzzzzzz. Well, it isn’t offensive, and I suppose that it’s fairly true to style. That style, however, is pretty much the pale lager of the ale family. Did I mention that it’s all organic? topherh (915), Kearney, Missouri, USA
