Commercial Description:
Au Naturale is an easy drinking, blonde ale. The ale has a crisp, clean body and a subtle malt sweetness. All organic German Pilsner, Vienna and CaraHell malts and German organic Hallertau hops are used for purity’s sake. The play on words lends itself not only to the organic ingredients in the beer, but also to the lifestyle of those of us who live at one with nature. Grab a bottle and join us in the hot spring!

Honey, herbal, floral; this beer says summer time to me. Thin bodied, sweet malts with a grainy dry finish, lightly hopped. Another beer delivery form my parents.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy golden color with a large, foamy white head that lasts. Taste is of roasted malt, smoke, grass herbs, citrus Rather sweet. A little bitter. Similar aroma. Good, but there are better options out there that are cheaper.

Sample at GABF. Pours a straw yellow, thin white head. Aroma is grass, wheat, honey, light yeast and spice. Flavor is about the same. Light to medium body, light floral finish.

Color was ruddy gold color; smallish white head. Aroma bread, honey with a bit of grass and fruit. Flavor was surprisingly good for a pretty bland style; sweet malt, grassy/earthy bitterness, with a touch of fruit and yeast. Better than expected.

Bottled. Poured bright, rather watery golden with surprisingly little head sticking around. The aroma picked up semi-sweet bready and honey notes with grassy and citrusy accents.. soft overall, and not enticing. The flavor had more honey with pale malts at the core.. mild dry grass and citrus bitternes around.. short finish showed a pinch of light fruit with pils malts. Light-bodied and watery on the palate with surprisingly little carbonation.. non-offensive, but not good on any front.

Pours orange / light amber with a soapy off-white head. The aroma has semi-sweet maltiness like a helles with a touch of fruitiness and a bit of dough. Medium body with very gentle carbonation. The flavor starts with the aroma notes and some harshness reminiscent of tobacco or leather as well as being a bit grainy and has light nectar fruits. The finish is crisp with a hint of spicy hops. Enjoyable.

My girlfriend found this somewhere out west. Golden pour with white head. Aroma of pale malt, nuts, caramel. Flavor has a distinct yeasty characteristic, some peaches, some biscuits. Pretty plain ale here.

yellowy orange pour with a small white head. lots of florals in the nose... mixed with pale malt, a touch of caramel and peaches. the flavor is a rather bland version of the aroma... mix in some orange, flowers and a distinct ashy characteristic akin to a cigarette butt in the bottom of the bottle...ick! there is some creaminess to the texture on the medium body. 5/3/4/3/10/2.5

9/22/09 picking up a distinct flavor of corn mash. the ash has disappeared but it is still not great. incredibly thick rich mouth feel when consumed straight from the bottle5/3/5/4/13/2.9
