Nose is caramel malts, pepper, and a touch of citrus hops. Palate has almost a stout coffee/cocoa flavor upfront that quickly gets overridden with a hoppy bitterness. Light mouth feel with great lacing. Good brew – thanks Jake for the opportunity to try it. MrEcted1 (144), Wheat Ridge, Colorado, USA

Very nice hoppy flavor. Long sweet finish with a sweet brown sugary flavor. Very nice on the palate, not thin at all. Very good for an ESB, aroma is very inviting. A great fallback brew that I come to time and time again. anders37 (4796), Malmö, Sweden

The aroma is mostly hops and a caramel malt. The taste is smooth but also quite rich; a strong caramel malt that is lightly toasted, also a good bit of pine/hops. A really good beer, smooth and tasty. Cletus (5060), Connecticut, USA
