Commercial Description:
Bitch Creek perfectly balances big malt sweetness and robust hop flavor for a full bodied, satisfying mahogany ale. Like the stream for which it is named, our Bitch Creek ESB is full of character... Not for the timid.

350 ml bottle from Bevmo. Deep cloudy brown with almost no head. Good full tobacco and spice aroma with some caramel hints. Thick satin but slightly sticky palate. Some citric tartness to the taste, caramel presence, and a mild bitterness to the finish.

Pours deep caramel with thin ecru head. Aroma is earthy with a hint of sunflowers and a faint rose whiff. Flavor is complex and changes from a lemon sour to a grapefruit bitter with a reminders of a well seasoned roast beef or steak. The palate is a bit watery for all these flavors, but leaves a fresh fruitlike aftertaste. This beer is complex, like a good Cabernet, and becomes more interesting as I drink it.

"Really enjoyed this- dark brown color, creamy head. Nice sweetness to it- caramel and a little roasted taste and smell. Just enuff hops to impart some bitterness to it. nice and balanced. Very good brew."

Aroma is a hoppy citrus scent. Color is a deep clear amber. Carbonation seems low but with a nice tan head. Taste is thin, bitter and coffee like. Starting with a light/medium body it goes down easy. Finish comes on light with a roasted taste and mild bitterness. Its a bit thin but still a nic e Bitter Ale.

Deep red in color, almost brown, in room light. Some diacetyl in the aroma with light citric hops. Lot of toffee and caramel abound, some floral hops and lingeringiced tea. Slightly watery mouthfeel. Overall, thanks Toby, for the quaffer.

Awsome (and I have a t-shirt to match!) A gift from Jackson Hole. Did not tatse like a bitter, rather a nut brown. malty nutty in nose and taste, smooth finish.

I picked up this bottle in Jackson Hole in Wyoming. A pretty decent brew that I could drink all night.

Bottle. Pours dark brown with a frothy, rocky, light brown head, somewhat lasting, good lacing. Aroma is average malt (lightly toasted grain, bread), light hops (grass, herbs), average yeast (sweat, dough) with notes of spiced brown sugar and cola. Medium bodied, oily texture, average carbonation and a bitter finish. Average duration, light sweetness, moderate acidity and bitterness.
