Commercial Description:
Bitch Creek perfectly balances big malt sweetness and robust hop flavor for a full bodied, satisfying mahogany ale. Like the stream for which it is named, our Bitch Creek ESB is full of character... Not for the timid.

12 oz bottle thanks to padrefan98. Very malty aromas off this clear dark reddish brown beer. Flavors were more malt with a decent bitter finish. Surprised me how much I liked this one.

I bought this specifically because it made me laugh out loud in the store. I was surprised to find that it was actually a great beer, label aside. Nice combo of malts and hops. Bitter, but not too much. I’d like to try it again, especially if I can find it on tap.

This draft brew from the Oregon Brewers festival poured a head of foamy fine to medium sized light brown colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a and a good lacing. The mild aroma was hoppy and brown malt. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The mildly bitter flavor contained notes of hops and brown malt. A decent one that I would consider buying again.

Bottle from BevMo. Rich deep amber color, almost ruby. Thick sticky aroma of maltiness with some hop character present. Full flavored malty goodness. Finish is somewhat bitter, with some citric qualities.

Amber in color with a thin head. This had a great aroma and a flavor that was very much of a ESB. The bitter hops and the rich malts where what you look for in a good ESB. Dry in the finish the taste stays for a while. This was a truly great find at the festival.

Mmmm, good ESB. Easily Grand Teton’s best effort. Just as decribed, nice maltiness with a hoppy finish. Good example of the style. Would be especially good on draught.

This beer surprised me. I really liked it a lot. A dark reddish-brown color. Not much head. Sweet aroma. I know it’s an ESB, but it almost tasted like an Extra Special Brown instead of Bitter. It tasted like a Bitter Brown Ale. Really good stuff.

on tap-pours a foamy to creamy tan head and mahogany color. Aroma is sweet medium malt, citrus hops. Taste is sweet medium malt-caramel/chocolate, citrus hops-slightly bitter. Nice, even though the malt roasting is a bit too far along for me.
