Commercial Description:
Bitch Creek perfectly balances big malt sweetness and robust hop flavor for a full bodied, satisfying mahogany ale. Like the stream for which it is named, our Bitch Creek ESB is full of character... Not for the timid.

On draught at Harry’s Bar in Boise, Idaho. A deep amber with a light head where the early bitterness gave way to a very dry malty flavor. Medium-bodied, with an almost raoted character. The big hoppy flavor dominated the maltiness but finished on a plesant bitter note.

12oz bottle via trade with Bück Dich - Thanks Jordan - Pours a nice copper color with a thick creamy tan head that stays pretty well and laces the sides of the glass. Aromas of toffee, caramel, and some roasted nuts and some floral notes. Flavor is quite malty big caramel and toffee with some underlying hints of coffee and chocolate. A nice floral hop finish leaves a dry feeling. Good solid medium palate not too much carbonation. Quite malty yet creamy and smooth on the palate. Pretty outstanding in the style in my opinion. Very nice brew!

"wow surprised poured a dark copper color with good head. Aroma was of toffee and bitter coffee. Flavor was overwelled bt the coffee, but there were some hops in the finish. Not bad beer at all"

Thanks to doulos for this one. Pretty flavorful beer for the alcohol level. Poured a deep copper color with a very nice head and ok lacing. The aroma was of coffee and toffee. The flavor was more coffee than anything, slightly sour, some pine hops, and that annoying diacetyl butter flavor that I’m not fond of in the English styles. Hard to maintain neutrality on styles that aren’t my favorite, so this one was pretty good within the ESB style.

(12oz bottle) Clear blood red body topped by a rocky, medium beige head. Aroma is moderately sweet, caramel, earthy, dark chocolate, floral, light nut. Taste is medium sweet, chocolate, earthy, caramel, floral, cookie. Very flavorful with solid bitterness. Watery medium body with some chewiness.

Tap @ the brewery. Stunning, rather dark, clear amber/copper with huge, beige rocky head. Aroma is rich med. roast malt & hops. Flavor is rich med rst malt, a bit sweet, but balanced perfectly with the hop flavors and bitterness. Into medium bodied. I usually like something with more punch & flavor but this was very clean & fresh tasting. I could have drank a growler of this with no complaints.

Nice dark reddish/rust color with a tan head. Tastes of caramels, roastiness, malts, and citrus tones. Hop presence wasnt too strong, but rather medium. Easy to drink and a tasty ESB.

Bottle. Clean ruby-mahogony color with a nice light beige head. Caramel and slightly roasty malt aroma with citrus. Citrus hop flavors with a nice caramel malt backing. Nice balance. Lingering bitterness.
