Not too sweet, and not too bitter, but it does have alot of hops. The dry finish is ok but the overly hoppy aroma is too much for me. I guess I’m too timid. leems (150), Portland, Oregon, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 15, 2009 Pours a clear red with a nice foamy medium beige head. Aroma is light malt with a little orange hop. Flavor is initially quite malty followed by a blast of bitter hops, the finish is long and kind of bready. Quite drinkable and a decent example of an ESB.. nickd717 (1396), Palo Alto, California, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 7, 2009 On tap at Boonville Beer Fest. Bitch Creek - good one. Grand Teton is not afraid to use expletives. You have to fucking respect that shit. Dark amber color with an off-white head. Caramel malt, nuts, toffee, and mild hops on the aroma. Flavor is caramel malt, black tea, toffee, with a citrusy hop finish. Medium body for the style. Pretty bitchin’ though for what it is. ElJefe (553), Rochester, New York, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Apr 26, 2009 Pours reddish brown with a medium sized beige head. Aroma is a soft maltiness (nuts, caramel) accompanied by orange and piney hops. Flavor of nuts and tea with a bunch of earthy, piney hops in the finish. Finish is long and bitter, with the hops being a bit brash and aggressive. Body a tad watery, lively carbonation. (12 oz. bottle) shakespeare33 (120), san diego, California, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 9, 2009 12oz bottle. Pours cloudy amber with a medium tan head. Malty aroma with caramel and hops. Hoppy flavor with a good malt balance. Very good, but something is a bit off with the flavor. Still better than I expected for a beer with such a novelty name. greenhorn1 (462), Mission Viejo, California, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 1, 2009 12 oz bottle. Pours a clear dark amber with a thick head that dissipates quickly, but leaves some lacing. Faint malt aroma, which is somewhat dissapointing. However, the flavor is pretty bold, sweet maltiness. I was hoping for more hoppiness, which was hard to find. Medium bodied. Not my favorite style, but this was still not as bad as I was orginally expecting.
