BeerandBlues2 (3201), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA Nov 6, 2009 Bottled as Million Dollar Cowboy Bar Beer. Pours clear dark yellow with an average, frothy, white head, somewhat lasting with good. Aroma is heavy malt (cookie, straw, cereal, meal), average hop (flowers, grass) average yeast (dough, sweat) with notes of pear and apricot. Medium bodied, gritty texture, average carbonation, and a bitter finish. Average duration, moderate sweetness, acidity, and bitterness. Reminds me of fruity pebbles. sunevdj (1765), Copenhagen OE, Denmark Aug 26, 2009 Bottle in Yellowstone National Park. Pours a clear golden with a white diminishing head and hints of lacings. Sweet with some bitterness. Malty caramel aromas. Medium body. Medium to high carbonation. Crispy dry finish. jdskinns (17), South Roxana, Illinois, USA Aug 12, 2009 Pours a yellow/golden color. Very transparent without a lot of bubble activity in the glass. Fizzy head that doesn’t last long after pouring. Very weak aroma. Slight bitter taste that quickly fades to nothing. Not a pleasant beer overall, rather weak actually. agillespie81 (190), Denver, Colorado, USA Jul 24, 2009 Deep golden color...fluffy head, with decent lacing. Light malt aroma. Mild flavor up front, with just a touch of sweetness...crisp mouthfeel. Back has somewhat of a faint hop tang...finish is very dry. Better than average flavor for the style, though it really doesn’t have much to make it stand out. aracauna (2357), Georgia, USA Jun 14, 2009 I had this while watching the real Old Faithful erupt. Not a bad beer when you’re not looking for a beer to keep your attention. Clean, straw malt. Light hops. DewBrewer (265), Austin, Texas, USA Jun 4, 2009 12 oz bottle. Nice aroma. Flavor is a bit sharp but the bitterness is okay. The malt just doesn’t give much to it. Drinkable. No off flavors. It doesn’t compare to the better blonde beers I have had but it’s ok. FROTHINGSLOSH (1961), GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA May 11, 2009 This beer came in my beer club. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a hazy vivid golden color with a medium sized yellow-white head. The aroma was crisp floral hops and light tangy and sour malts. The flavor was tangy, tart and sour with a touch of citrus and crisp hops. The finish was short, tangy and a bit dry. Decent. crazyvin (1246), New York, USA May 3, 2009 Light copper body with a thin white head. Aroma was midly sweet with some caramel malts hops were present. Flavor was mild but nice. Good malt notes mostly sweet but some citrus and a mild hop profile, Crisp and smooth.
