Nice fruity aromas of citrus and apple. Flavor fell off a bit though as the bitterness was a touch soapy. natejgood (190), Denver, Colorado, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 23, 2007 Pours an opaque golden orange color with a light head made of small bubbles. The beer has a bit of a hoppy smell, but it is very light. It also has a bit of a grassy scent to it (or is that just the name?). This beer has a bit of hoppy flavor to it, but tastes more like a pale ale than an IPA to me. However, for being a fairly light flavored beer it has a fair amount of body in the mouth. Overall this is an okay beer, but not a great IPA. Tejas (702), Dallas, Texas, USA

| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Apr 27, 2007 I think someone forgot to put hops in the boil. Seriously. For an IPA to have this minimal amount of hops is a crime. If it weren’t for the appearance and mouthfeel, this would be 4’s across the board. An aroma of light melon, biscuts with a very minimal citrus angle. Appearance orangish/gold in color, with a one-finger white head. Flavor was melons, wet grass and with a slight sweetness. Suprisingly dry for an IPA. This was just so damn boring I nearly fell asleep while drinking it.
