Mar 20, 2006 Hazy milky golden ale with a thick creamy white head. Coniferous hops aroma with light citrus notes. In mouth, classic crisp malt with herbal hops, lingering, and definite grapefruit. Medium bodied. Bottle is 1 yr old. Thanks Degarth.

Mar 7, 2006 It poured a cloudy, golden color with a tight bubbled white head that faded quickly. It had a pleasant, fresh earth aroma. It seemed light bodied, lighter than I would expect from an IPA. The hop/ malt balance was good, but both were light. Slight hop aftertaste

Feb 25, 2006 Updated: Mar 1, 2006This is a decent English style IPA but I prefer the West Coast style. Fruity aroma with a clean off white head. Nice legs hold to the glass. Taste hits you with the malt then comes on with a soft hop flavor and leaves you with a subtle bitterness on the tongue. Not my favorite but good.

Feb 10, 2006 Head is initially small, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is light to medium amber. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), lightly to moderately hoppy (grapefruit, flowers). Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly to moderately bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, moderately bitter, slightly husky. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Pretty boring for an IPA...not much going on in the aroma or elsewhere.

Jan 30, 2006 12oz. bottle. Golden color with a medium sized rocky white head. Lemongrass, vegetal hop aroma. Mellow malt under a floral, grassy hop flavor. Some resinous astringency in the finish, lingering unpleasantly constructed bitterness. Mouthfeel is light, dry.

Jan 25, 2006 Pours clear dark yellow with a soapy, short lived head. Light lemony hop aroma. Taste is grassy hops, slight resin. Underlying sourness kind of throws the beer off. Finish is bitter, sour, and slightly metallic.

Jan 15, 2006 12 oz Bottle. Flowery hop aroma with a hint of citrus. Golden amber color with some noticeable carbonation and a thin dissipating white head. Nice smooth beer with a small bit of bitterness. Tastes predominantly of hops with a hint of orange.

Jan 14, 2006 Updated: Feb 13, 2006Very light amber with lots of bubbles that cling to glass. Strong fruity aroma. Barely bitter, slightly skunky start with a fruity finish that lingers bitter then fruity. Strikingly smooth, clean feel. A favorite from this area.
