Commercial Description:
Sweetgrass is crisp and fragrant with a generous yet smooth hop character. The sweet bouquet and spicy flavor come from the combination of five hops and Idaho grown barleys. The color? We call is “Suntan”!

Golden brown with a thin white head. Doughy malts, citrus and some piney hops in the nose. Moderate bitterness, some grass, a little earth, doughy malts balancing things out. Solid IPA.

More my kind of IPA, where it isn’t just a hopsplosion, which is prolly why it is rated so lukewarm. Very solid brew from a VERY underrated Brewery.

Bright golden-amber colour. The aroma is woody, citrusy with fresh bready maltiness. Moderate bitterness - slightly woody, earthy. Some toasted malts and clean bread notes. The palate is balanced. An IPA doesn’t need to bludgeon you with hops to be good.

12oz bottle, orange with an off white 2" head, alfalfa hops smell, not much carbonation, medium bodied slightly bitter, minor balance issues, better than average overall.

Bottled. Beer on the month. Wasn’t a bad beer. Had a nice dry hop bite to it. Had worse. Had better.

12 oz bottle. Yellowish color with minimal head retention. Nice zippy hop aroma with some white pepper. Aroma of Cascade hops is most prevelant. Taste is piney and sweet and sadly without any real balance.

Lightly hazed orangey amber. Sweet pineapple, woody hop aroma. Dryish, spicy palate, mild biscuity malt and tropical fruit. Not a great IPA but drinkable.

It’s been a while since I’ve had this one: Some spicey, floral aromas in the nose, a note of sweet fruitiness, too; nice pour yeilds an ample cap of creamy, nicley lacing head; very slightly body and moderate carbonation; sweet, nutty front end followed by a building, citric/floral bittering; the malt really needs some more presence, the hopping is adequate and tasty; not bad
