Commercial Description:
Sweetgrass is crisp and fragrant with a generous yet smooth hop character. The sweet bouquet and spicy flavor come from the combination of five hops and Idaho grown barleys. The color? We call is “Suntan”!

An enjoyable beer from Beerhunter, however a little weak in the hops department, leaving the taste with more APA type experience. Poured a cloudy golden colour. Plenty of floral and citrus notes immediately. Flavour was what let me down. Creamy, soft grapefruit with a hint of hops in the finish. Better luck next time.

Amber in color. Nice hops aroma with a well blended malt and hops flavor. The hops where added nicely and added to the flavor. Fruity flavors from the hops and a well dry finish.

Poured hazy bright gold with a huge frothy white head. Sticky lacing. Perfumey aroma of grapefruit, grass, and mineral water. Smooth, effervescent mouthfeel. Crisp, fresh hop taste. Mellow pink grapefruit, peach, mango flavors, with very little resin. Sweeter malt that is more bready than caramel. I could drink this all day. Very, very nice IPA

12 oz bottle. Pours brassy color with enormous rocky off-white head. The aroma is orange and tangerine hops with a little bit of a floral note. The flavor is oddly grainy with some raw plant notes. The floral hops are in there, too, but seem less interesting than in the nose. The finish is sweet and slightly earthy. Decent enough.

good session ipa if you are out west and in need of a hop injection. I went through many of these over the summer of ’07

Pours a hazy amber with a white head. Hops and a little off hand funkiness in the aroma. Flavor is sweet malt and subdued citrus hops.

Dark golden to amber in color. Taller, lasting canvas colored head. Lightly toasted malt, grass and citric hops make up the aroma. After it sets for a bit some melon come to the nose, but there is still a "dirty/raw" malt underlying scent. LIght sweet malt flavors in the front lead to a light citric peel bitterness. Light in feel. Finishes dryer with some floor malt and white pepper and citric zest. A bit too earthy for as light as it is. But still a nice light IPA.

Bottle. Pours a darkish golden color with a long lasting white head. Has a malty hoppy grassy aroma. Sweetish malty weak hoppy flavor with hints of citrus. Has a sweetish malty hoppy citrus finish.
