Commercial Description:
Sweetgrass is crisp and fragrant with a generous yet smooth hop character. The sweet bouquet and spicy flavor come from the combination of five hops and Idaho grown barleys. The color? We call is “Suntan”!

12oz bottle. Horrible looking stuff, with chunks en masse, though it does keep a reasonable head over the putrid orange body. The aroma has some nice lemon and grapefruit hoppy notes, but also a harsh vegetal side and some burnt plastic in the background. The flavor is medium-mild for an IPA, hoppy, with a fuller malt texture and just enough bitterness that is a little resiny and citric. Lightly grainy-sweet with a medium weight and ample-yet-finer carbonation. Drinkable, but not really an IPA that I want to revisit. I have a feeling that this would be much better on tap.

Bottle. Poured a straw yellow color with a decent two finger white head. This beer left plenty of lacing on the side of the glass as it went. Some floaters in the beer. Aroma was spruce, pine and hops. Flavor was faint hops, pine, and resin. A bitter aftertaste. A very decent IPA.

bottle. Pours a hazy orange with little to no head. Aroma is sweet and hoppy, smells like sugar. Tastes sweet, definite orange taste with a very smooth hoppy spice. This is a classic, don’t give up on it based on the aroma beer. suprisingly tasty!

12 oz bottle. Strong citrus aroma of grapefruit. Quite floral. Pours hazy orange with medium head, decent lacing, mass floaties. Taste is quite sweet, ends bitter. Could use more carbonation. Body is thin. Finish is a bit oily. Sweetest IPA I’ve ever had. I’m used to bitter.

12 oz. bottle- Pours deep golden with minimal head, aroma is lemon and some hops. The flavor is exceptional, very smooth and sweet with very little bitterness, It’s just smooth, a great session beer. Another winner from Idaho’s greatest brewery.

Poured from 12 oz. cloudy golden-orange with medium off white head. Nose of citrus, mostly orange with a little wood and hops. Malty flavor with hops and grass. Is it a pale ale, IPA, or hybrid? Not sure, but extremely drinkabale.
