| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 4, 2005 Body is a surprisingly clear dark gold. There is just a hint of haze. The head is white. The aroma has oranges with mangoes and a hint of clove. The taste has some light lemons with a note of clove spice at the end. Better than most American Wheats. This one actually has some real character. 5000 (2409), Hardened Liver, Washington, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Sep 27, 2005 Bottle: Golden, slight haze, large white pillowy head, fairly nice lacing, very light on the carbonation. Wet malt nose, very slight charred wood. Blech, band-aid galore. Slightly wheaty on the backside, but the band-aid really sucks. Its not strong, but enough to detract on this lighter ale. Moderate body and mouthfeel. Finishes like Johnson & Johnson or Curad. Thanks Ken!

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Sep 12, 2005 Bottle poured a hazy gold with a small white head. Aromas of bread, hay, and a hint of citrus. Palate was soft and smooth. Flavors of crackers and lemon with a bit of spice in the finish. DarkElf (2681), La Jolla, California, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Sep 7, 2005 (12 oz bottle: BevMo in La Jolla, CA) Talk about your generic American Wheat! Some lightly sweet wheat character, very light bitterness, mild citrusy sourness, and a musty hoppiness, but I think I pick up a hint of spiciness in the finish, as in chili pepper spiciness. Weird. Generic cheap beer aroma with some stinkiness. The label says, "Smooth & Easy Drinking" but I’m not sure I’d go along with the smooth since it basically has the mouthfeel of light-bodied, cheap, carbonated macro. Medium golden color, fully clear, and topped by a small, white head that fades away to nothing. No lacing, obviously. The flavor is too thin to ever want to drink this again. I’d rather drink water -- it has fewer calories and is better for you. Aubrey (2774), Denver, Colorado, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Aug 29, 2005 Updated: Mar 10, 2006Deep yellow; mostly headless. Sticky malts were bready-toasty and cracker-like. Had a yeasty-doughy thing going on. Mild bitterness. Aromas seemed a little flat, but it had some OK elements of lemon and dried flowers. A vague beer for a vague style ... nevertheless, not bad. Crosling (1854), Loveland, Colorado, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Aug 28, 2005 - Light gold color. Wheatgrass, lemon and hay aromas, though subtle. Light wheat acidity, soft palate, with delicate flavors. Very subtle and gentle overall, like taking a big bite out of a natural grassland. A bit hoppier for an American wheat and dry as well, juicy, but with absolutely no yeast character. Ernest (4487), Boulder, Colorado, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Aug 28, 2005 Updated: Feb 10, 2006Head is initially small, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is light amber. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), lightly hoppy (apricot, flowers), with notes of lemon and passion fruit. Flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, moderately bitter, husky. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Interesting enough aroma considering the style, but fairly grainy in the finish. Pailhead (2593), Allen Park, Michigan, USA

Pours a golden-orange with a touch of haze and a small white head. Lightly sweet up front with some orange peel coming in the middle. Finishes very nice with lemon, spice, and very light hops. This is a very good American Wheat.
