Really enjoyed it, had a nice hop kick but not too overwhelming. Great mouth feel and nice light carbonation. Definitely recommend it for anyone who enjoys a good pale ale. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 25, 2009 Tap at Toronto location. Pours a coppery amber with a thin beige head. Aroma is typical bigger american APA to IPA- in the fruit juicy category- with lot sof citrus, pine and resin muddled up a bit by some big crystal malts, honey and toastiness. Flavor is big caramel malts, toast, and some piney citrus hops. It is an ok attempt but a bit too much malt, and the hops become a bit too fruity and not quite refined. Ok. garthicus (1307), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

On cask. Red/amber body with a nice sudsy off white head. Aroma: quite hoppy, malty, some young pine, very fresh. Flavour: lovely initial hop bite which turns into a smooth maltiness. Some lovely pine/wood flavours too and a nice dry hop finish. Lovely. piscator34 (1131), Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 9, 2009 On draft at C’est What. Deep copper in colour with low carbonation. Moderate citrus and slightly minty nose. The malts come through a bit more in the mouth, with the caramel and pale malt notes smoothing over all of the rough edges. There’s a fair bit of green hop flavor on the palate as well. Nitro-like mouthfeel. Solid brew. robinvboyer (1435), Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, Canada
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 30, 2009 I find this funny, in an area that is starved for hoppy beer, one of the hoppiest i’ve had from around here is considered an APA? Great grapefruit, and citrus aroma with a touch of skunky hops, but i like that in a big hoppy beer. THe flavor is very well balanced with the malt that is really adding a much needed back bone, i really like this. Lubiere (4547), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
