Aroma is on the herbal and grassy side with hints of earth and toasty crackery and light carapils sweetness. Flavor is more woodsy, earthy and leafy with grass and herbs- with a slight phenolic spiciness and an ok toasty malt backbone. Somewhat easy drinking. Weird hop usage just didn’t quite do it for me. garthicus (1305), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 11, 2009 Another Granite beer I’ve had and somehow not rated!!! On cask at brew pub. App: golden body, frothy ’cask’ head, zero visible carbonation. Aroma: hops, toffee, wood, vanilla, perfume and a hint of brandy. Flavour: quite sharp, battery-ish, malt, hops, perfume, very light mouth-feel. Wood & bamboo through and through. Served a little warm (even for cask) enjoyable but nowhere near as good as their Hopping Mad. AGAquino (91), San Juan, Puerto Rico

Ochre colour, slightly cloudy with light tan foamy head and good lacing. Nice hoppy aroma. Very nice hoppy sweet flavour with slight bitter. Nice lingering aftertaste. | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 22, 2009 On tap at the brewery. The color is a hazy honey with a thin ti no head very fast. It was cask so not to much punch to it, rather dull. The taste is of hops and a bitter finish. Beershine (2710), Where Climate Suits My Clothes, Vietnam
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 24, 2008 Cask @ brewpub, Toronto. Slightly hazy peach-toned golden frothy head, scattered lacing. Floral hops. Yeasty and fruity aromas. Friendly cask mouthfeel. Sweet entry, rounding to a complex earthy middle and a lingering delightfully earthy hoppy bitter finish. Yum. | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Aug 10, 2008 Objectively speaking:
Cask-served dry-hopped ale with little bitterness for an IPA.
I like:
Pleasant floral aromatics. Tea-like nuances. Confident pale malts which offer decent cerealic support.
I dislike:
The taste does not keep up with the dry-hopping promises. Really thin in mouth, causing a certain leafy astringency.

| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Jun 1, 2008 on cask at the brewery in toronto. golden (this doesnt look like an IPA). no hops in the aroma. no hops anywhere. my server told me the hop shortage has affected this brew and its not as good as it once was. ill i can say is this is an uninspired offering.
