This draft brew from the brewery poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a very hazy dark yellow-white colored body and a poor lacing. The aroma was bready and mild malt. The crisp mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The weak flavor was covered up by the coldness of the beer which contained notes of coriander. An OK brew just nothing special.

Draft at GCF&B in Fort Wayne, IN. Very small white head with good retention, one ring of lacing, hazy, and a darkish yellow hue. The aroma was malt, wheat, lightly hoppy, tart, citrus, oranges, and lightly spicy. The flavor was light citrus, malt, some orange flavor, lightly spicy, and wheat. Smooth mouthfeel and medium bodied. Needed more zing in the flavor as it comes off somewhat boring for the style.

draft at the Fort Wayne GC brewpub - Pours very hazy gold with a two finger lingering head. It smells of yeasty malt and some light citrus. The flavor is sweet wheat malt with a touch of citrus and spice. This light bodied beer finishes mildly dry finish. It’s a fairly average brew that’s alright for the summer. Though it’s a little boring that for their seasonal tap, Granite City followed a hefeweizen with a wit.
