Commercial Description:
A thick creamy head sits atop the opaque blackness of this traditional dry Irish Stout. Roasted chocolate and coffee notes make this beer a great treat.

Looks good. Nitro tap with a cramy head. Lasts the whole beer with some lacing. VERY thin beer. Nice roasty flavor. Something very off in the finish. Tastes off, almost like dirty socks,

Pours quite dark with a dense tan head that was determined to say on there the whole time. The aroma is very light with a hint of cream. Medium rich body that gets light on the finish and has the expected sharp carbonation. The flavor starts with light cream, vanilla and some roasted malt. The finis is sour and almost fruity. Like all of the GC beers it is watery. Fair.

Mild roast aroma (served too cold). Black with sticky brown head. Bitter roast with mild coffee malts. Unbalanced.

Server said "this one is like Guiness". well he was mostly right, cause this wasnt very good. Very thin, not much to speak of for malt flavor. It was creamy but awfully blah. GC is not the place to go for good beer.

St. Louis Park location. Chocolate, cocoa and dry malt on the nose. Pours black with a thick khaki head with excellent retention. Flavor reminded me of Guinness Draught. Mostly dry with a hint of malty sweetness. Medium boded and creamy. Lacked depth and complexity.

On tap in Omaha NE. Very dark brown color with a medium amount of head. Slight aroma of coffee and dark chocolate. Not much of a stout; flavor was very mild and very poor mouthfeel. Slight taste of chocolate and malt. Somewhat too watery. Scored a little higher than desrved but it is a stout nonetheless.

Tap: Pours a nearly black dark brown and is capped by a modest yet sustained tan head. The aroma’s fairly light for any type of stout, but it’s come some bittersweet chocolate and roasted coffee there if you sniff hard enough. A bit thin, but has a flavor of roasted malt & barley, coffee, chocolate, and some nuts. Dry finish.

On tap at Cherry Valley. Not the best stout I’ve had by far but nice roasted chocolate coffee and malt flavors
