Tap at the St. Louis Park Location. Faint aroma of caramel, toast and some biscuity malt. Pours browm/amber with no head. Lightly roasted sweet malt and slightly nutty on the tongue. Medium bodied with a mildly bitter finish.

On tap in Omaha NE in August 2007 on the way to California. This was the best of the six beers they were serving. A see through amber hue, with caramel and malt aroma. Sweet malt and fruit taste with a medium body. This beer was good but not outstanding

I liked this. It wasn’t spectacular, but good anyway. Moderate malt, some caramel. A little sweet.

From the tap this pours a clear amber body with a dinkus off-white head. It’s got an aroma of caramel , grain, and a mild earthiness. Flavors much the same, but its sweetness seems unchecked. A bit watery, too.

Another disappointing product from a place that has pretty good food and a nice location and atmosphere hoping they can come with something better soon.

Draught sample at the St Louis Park MN location, RBSG Minneapolis weekend, June 23 2007. Clear caramel color with just a bit of quick-dying foam....minimal aroma, faint old grains, caramel, and a bit of vegetables....old stale caramel candies float in thin barely-flavored vegetable gruel, ancient grassy hops and wet cardboard don’t really add to the fun....a watery, unpalatable mess.

Lightly sweet but indiscriminately so. Maybe slight touches of chocolate but no real complexity at all. Slight bitter/dry finish. Unimpressive.

Nice beer. Fresh to the palate. very pleasing not sweet but the caramel malts and hops have a nice blend.
