Tap at brewpub, Wichita, KS. Pours deep amber with an aroma of faint nut. Flavor is a nice caramel malt in the foreground with a nice molasses finish. A bit thin on the tongue. Well-made bock; nice balance of flavors. I’ll have this again next time I’m in Wichita.

I liked this. A slightly sweeter malt profile, with a lite bit of nuttiness(peanuts and hazelnuts) mixed with a lighter bit of chocolate and caramel. This is a lighter bock style, but has some great chewy flavors.

Draught at the Cedar Rapids, IA location. Clear brown color with thin off white head and no lace. Smells of brown sugar, molasses and a hint of darkly roasted malt. Flavor is nutty and roasty with a touch of tangy brandy at the end. Interesting, and unlike any bock I’ve ever tried.

Draft at S.D. location. Clear brown color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Light toasted nutty malt aroma. Light to medium body with a smooth texture. Medium balanced bitter sweet flavor with the same medium finish of average duration.

Light clear brown. Nice aroma of chocolate and sweetness. Maple and brown sugar tastes. Solid effort from this mainly crappy place.

Cedar Rapids, IA location. Pours to a chestnut colored body with a white head. The aroma is graham crackers, rice krispies, chocolate. The aroma is a touch light, however. The flavor, fortunately, is nicely like a chocolatey rice/graham cracker/nut power bar. The palate is very smooth. Nice feel.

Cedar Rapids location. Aroma of sweet toasty malts. Pours a clear amber with little off-white head. Caramel malts with a biscuity, sweet finish. OK beer.
