Omaha. Light copper to bronze in color. Smaller off-white head. Toasted malt, earth, caramel and touch of fruit in the aroma. Not a clean lager scent. Flavors start with some sweet malt, then turn a bit grainy and fruity. Seems more like a strong amber.

My favorite of the GC brews. Considerably hoppy, while it also contains a mild chocolate aroma and flavour. Also some caramel present.

Draft in MO. Pours a brune amber body with a thin white head. Chewy malty body nutty with light almond like bitterness. Some dried fruit and caramel to finish. Decent.

On tap at the Mishawaka location 7/15/09: Pours a transparent dark copper amber with a well-lacing froth of white head. Aroma of lightly sweet toasty caramel malt and a hint of doughy yeast and some graininess. Starts with decent fullness and a touch of light fruits and grainy caramel before a drier toasty finish. A decent maibock.

Sample at the Creve Coeur, MO brewpub. The beer is a clear brownish-amber color with a medium thin light beige head that diminishes steadily. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Sweet toffee and malt aroma. Medium body with a sweet malty character and flavors of cocoa and nuts. The finish is sweet chocolate malt with a nutty finish. Average overall.

Tap. Deep reddish-brown color, like a cola. Nice munich aroma. Flavor has a dominate chocolate malt character. Low bitterness, mostly malt. Still very well balanced. Smooth, not bad. Very nice malt character.

dark brown, almost opaque in color. Pours with a small head, but it doesnt last, and the whole mess of it quickly turns watery clear. Light, arely noticeable nutty aroma. Very nutty flavor, almos tlike a nut brown ale. flavor also has carmelized sugars. Texture starts off with a good bite. Unfortunately that bite follows into the finish.

I hate this place, but when one came to town, I had to try all the beers. They’re all average to bad.
