Jan 25, 2009 Flavor is malt, chocolate, a hint of cinnamon, and has a good amount of fiz. Has a medium amount of hop that gives it a good bite. Color is dark brown with a red hue. And it comes in an awesomely huge mug. Keep ’em coming.

Aug 19, 2006 Tap at brewpub, Wichita, KS. Pours deep amber with an aroma of faint nut. Flavor is a nice caramel malt in the foreground with a nice molasses finish. A bit thin on the tongue. Well-made bock; nice balance of flavors. I’ll have this again next time I’m in Wichita.

Jul 12, 2006 Draught at the Cedar Rapids, IA location. Clear brown color with thin off white head and no lace. Smells of brown sugar, molasses and a hint of darkly roasted malt. Flavor is nutty and roasty with a touch of tangy brandy at the end. Interesting, and unlike any bock I’ve ever tried.

Jun 30, 2006 Light clear brown. Nice aroma of chocolate and sweetness. Maple and brown sugar tastes. Solid effort from this mainly crappy place.

Feb 28, 2006 The beer was a dark brown with not much of a head. This was a nice balanced beer that went down smooth.

Aug 2, 2006 I liked this. A slightly sweeter malt profile, with a lite bit of nuttiness(peanuts and hazelnuts) mixed with a lighter bit of chocolate and caramel. This is a lighter bock style, but has some great chewy flavors.

Aug 11, 2008 Growler from KC Speedway location. Clear brown color with a nice head that fades into a halo lacing. Aroma is lightly sweet, lightly bark/earthy, and clean maltiness. Taste is easy with clean faint dark bread maltiness and a lightly sweetened aftertaste and a short light bitterness. Easy drinking nice, but not really special or distinct.
