| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jan 18, 2004 Slightly hazed golden yellow color with a medium off-white head thats fluffy and a bit crusty, lots of intricate lacing in webby strings. Aroma is quite hoppy, good citrusyness and pineyness mixing to bring a sweet grassy and floral aspect together with some soft but warming caramel malts. Taste is along the lines from the smell, hops, and good amounts of them. Citrusy, clean, soft but very present bitterness lending some pineyness, floral and resiny, quite fresh with a major warming feel hitting late. This maybe high in ABV, but I'm not sure, the listings for the ABV were not available, but I think it may be close to 8% cuz this sucker hit with some big warmth late. Great soft, clean, full feel throughout, smooth and pleasingly bittered. This was a nice treat and a nice surprise as well. The thing that was great about these guys is they were the only ones filling the sample glasses to the top, and serving them back to you with a big smile.
