Pours a slightly hazy copper-orange body with a minimal off-white head. Some grapefruity hops over a light caramel malt base on the nose. The flavor is light citrusy and floral hops over a thin caramel malt base. A little sticky and clingy with soft carbonation. Probably the best of the 7 beers that I had that night, but that’s not really saying much. triguy84 (69), Fitchburg, Wisconsin, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Nov 29, 2009 Classic IPA, spot on for the style. Pours a clear copper, thin white head. Hint of hops aroma. Hint of malt flavor, moderate hop flavor on the citrus side. Medium body with moderate hop bitterness. piscator34 (1134), Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Nov 1, 2009 On draft at the Fargo location. Amber in colour with strong carbonation. Aromas are of white grapefuit, dried leaves, pine, pale malts, and a hint of diacetyl. More general citrus fruit in the mouth, along with both pale and caramel malts. Quite dry and light bodied, with some lingering mineral bitterness. Not really in IPA by typical US micro standards, but a servicable as a pale ale. It was hoppier and drier than I expected from a chain brewpub. JPDIPSO (4944), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA
