On tap at the Rockford location. Pours a dark amber, not much head. Overly carbonated with a thin body. Aroma of roasted malt and grass. Not much in the way of hop bitterness here. One of the worst IPAs I’ve had in a long time.

Tap @ Kansas City location: Clear copper color with a smooth hop aroma. The flavors are semi-fresh hops that display the perfumy side of things. The bitterness is not too strong, but almost average.

clear copper color, quickly disappearing off white head, scum of tiny bubbles float on top. aroma is mildly citrusy, grapefruity with a trace of pine. more pine in the flavor than the aroma suggests, but also the grapefruit notes. a bit mild for an IPA, but enjoyable none-the-less. medium bodied, medium bitter finish. a decent, if mild, attempt at the style. i expected much less.

Sampled on draught, pours a clear orange/copper colour with a decent head and noticeable resinous lacing. Mildly hoppy, earty and astringent. Carries a soft floral hop aroma. Finishes clean and refreshing.

Had on tap at Granite City in Orland Park. Pours dark copper with light off-white head. Aroma os floral hops, citurs and pine. Flavor is hops and citrus with pine and malt. Brew is a little watery but refreshing and drinkability is good with low abv. Would be brew of choice if I were to go back.

Draught from Granite City in East Peoria, IL. Too dark to see color, but it was served draught with a nice head. Strong hop aroma and a perfect blend of hops and grapefruit in the mouth. My first IPA where I could really pick out the grapefruit aroma and flavor. I’ll bump up the overall score for that.
