unclemattie (2370), Georgia, USA Sep 19, 2009 Tap. Red color, white head. Looks like a Raspberry brew. Tastes like blueberry candy. Sweet malt, fake fruit. Candy. that’s all. I’d never order it. shawnm213 (884), South Bend, Indiana, USA Aug 9, 2009 Updated: Aug 14, 2009tricked into going to granite city brewery. pours a koolaid pink purple. Overly sweet berries. Trev (850), Lakeville, Minnesota, USA Jul 5, 2009 @ Granite City in Olathe (Kansas City) Blue-purple with no head.
Malty aroma with bluberry.
Flavour was tart berry over light malt body. Clean crisp finish.
badgerben (3586), Blaine, Minnesota, USA May 18, 2009 Tap at Roseville, MN location. Red color with a small head. Light blueberry aroma and a distinct cough syrup note. Blueberry steps up a bit in the flavor. Very vinous and oddly tanic. A fair amount of dusty wheat in the background. Not too shabby. Skyview (4007), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA Feb 10, 2009 On draught during Winterfest 2009 in St Paul, MN. Pours a clear reddish amber brew with a fast dissolving off-white head that dissipates to a clean top. Aroma of blueberries, golden grain malt, some citrus and grassy hops. Taste is light bodied, with flavors of golden grain malt, grassy hops and a touch of blueberries. Finish is slightly watery, crisp with very little aftertaste. Overall, a very light berry fruit beer.
