Feb 10, 2009 On draught during the Winterfest 2009 in St. Paul, Minnesota. Pours a clear copper amber brew with a thin off-white head that quickly dissipates to a fine film. Aroma of sweet caramel malt, some toffee and a light roasted nuts and vanilla. Taste is very little carbonation, medium bodied with some flavors of roasted caramel malt, toffee, vanilla and a light bourbon. Finish is slightly dry and metallic with some aftertaste flavors of caramel malt and vanilla/bourbon flavors.
