BlackDonald (1040), North Carolina, USA Jul 16, 2008 This was definitely the best thing on tap. This is quite nice, a good example of the style. Lots of coriander in the nose with a slight hint of dried mustard seed. Very fresh, with great yeasty esthers, a slight bit of clove spice and fresh off the vine bananas. A truly refreshing summer beer.
Enniskillen (1551), Port Angeles, Washington, USA Aug 24, 2008 Gold with a white head. Aroma is light wheat, malt and light fruit. Taste is light mild malts with wheat and light grapefruit. mgermani (590), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Aug 11, 2008 Pours a cloudy dull gold with a thin but lasting head with some lacing. Lemon-fresh aroma, a bit like a cleaning agent. Taste is refreshing and light, a bit watery. Some coriander but not much, more like a very watery Hefeweizen than a good wit. Thin, slightly creamy body with passable carbonation. I can’t honestly taste a huge difference between this and their Robson Street Hefeweizen, but I am glad to see Granville Island embracing the Belgian styles. Quaffable but bland, ultimately. crazychuck (16), Canada Jul 19, 2008 A refreshingly light summer beer that has a subtle body to back it up. A fruity body combines with an excellent yellow cloudy presentation to make for a truly refreshing beer that almost demands a patio to drink it on.
