This has a nice amber colour - darker than GI’s IPA - and a medium-sized white head. Aroma and taste clearly show the mal, with an undercurrent of hop. Very nice. In fact, MUCH nicer than the muck that GI turns out as their "year ’round" offerings. They could make ALL their beer this good if they wanted to. beerledgend (919), Waterloo, Wellington, New Zealand

Aroma is floral hops and pilsener malting. Has that skunky noble-hop flavour which I seem to find more often in bottled Euro-lagers. Bland, sweet malt and not much else going on. Plenty of carbonation and a pinched, thin body. Not my favourite style, not my favourite example. Drinkable, though. carruthm (1167), Seattle, Washington, USA

Bottle at Chris O’s extravaganza. Yeasty hoppy aroma with a little spice. Muddy amber colour. Flavour is very hoppy with plenty of fruit. Slight toffee notes too. Just very slightly one dimensional for me.
