nuplastikk (1157), Madison, Wisconsin, USA Sep 19, 2009 Draft at the Tied House. Golden-orange color, lots of CO2 bubbles. Filtered. Nobel hop flavor all the way, quite bitter. Sweet and dry, way drier than typical which is OK with me. Light orange zesty citrus effect as well. Not super deep or complex, but all around OK. JK (2944), Richfield, Minnesota, USA Jul 1, 2007 I enjoyed this simple beer. It has excellent palate. Lightly hopped. Gold in color. Flavor has a balance of hops and malt, and a crisp, hoppy finish. akevitt (97), Valhalla, Minnesota, USA Jun 28, 2007 Thanks to Skyview for sharing! Surprisingly tasty considering the beer’s history. Sweet malt dominated the aroma. It tastes of sweet malt with mild hops. Skyview (4006), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA Jun 28, 2007 Picked up single 12-oz bottle from Bob McFarland Liquors in McFarland, WI. Pours a brownish gold brew with an average off-white head. Aroma of orange peel, flowery hops, caramel and a touch of something that reminds me of Children’s Bayer asprin. Taste is medlum bodied, average carbonation and a little sweet on the tongue. Finish is slightly sweet with some citrus aftertaste. It’s a little sweet for a pale ale but a decent American dark ale. BDR (2139), Roseville, Minnesota, USA Jun 28, 2007 Thanks to skyview for sharing. Gold body with faint head. Fresh grain nose. Mildly sweet grain body with a smooth finish. iowaherkeye (1832), Bakersfield, California, USA May 18, 2007 On tap @ Gray’s Tied House, 5/15/07. Pours a clear light honey amber with a ring of head in an ice cold glass. Aroma of floral hops, caramel malts, and some pine--in that order. Flavor was bitter up front with floral hops and caramel, some light grapefruit bitterness towards the end. Bitterness peaked around a 3 out of 10. Low to moderate carbonation with a light body. Nothing was wrong with this, but nothing made me think "wow, this is nice." Cornfield (4892), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA Jul 7, 2006 Pours kind of a dingy yellow with a fizzy, three-fingered head. Smells nice, orange and tangerine scents over a light, sweet malt. Smooth mouthfeel. It tastes of sweet malts with an orange zest bitterness that turns earthy/herbal in the finish. An okay APA, but there are so many better ones out there.

JohnnyOS (646), Golden, Wisconsin, USA Apr 14, 2006 ours light amber with off-white cream whisp head. Aroma of citrus malt, hops and grain. Flavor is breifly hoppy, but no where near what the description makes you think it is. Average start with no follow through.
