Pours a brownish gold brew with an average off-white head. Aroma of orange peel, flowery hops, caramel and a touch of something that reminds me of Children’s Bayer asprin. Taste is medlum bodied, average carbonation and a little sweet on the tongue. Finish is slightly sweet with some citrus aftertaste. It’s a little sweet for a pale ale but a decent American dark ale. nuplastikk (1218), Madison, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 19, 2009 Draft at the Tied House. Golden-orange color, lots of CO2 bubbles. Filtered. Nobel hop flavor all the way, quite bitter. Sweet and dry, way drier than typical which is OK with me. Light orange zesty citrus effect as well. Not super deep or complex, but all around OK. Nice malt flavors with citrus/apple notes. I thought there was plenty of bitterness to finish off this beer. Maybe a little thin in body, but a good session beer. gws57 (1144), Saint Charles, Illinois, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jun 15, 2004 Yellow golden in color, very murky. Head is bright white, very thick, and mostly lasting. Mild cascade hop aroma is slightly citric (oranges) with some light caramel malts and Red Delicious apples intermixed. Flavor is mildly hopped with a strange appley sweetness in the finish. Interesting, and better than I expected.
