Medium bodied sandy chocolate malt. Roasty, with a mild touch of amber malt underneath. Semi-thin, not a thick milkshake porter by any means. BeerBunker (607), Burbank, Illinois, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jul 23, 2009 12oz bottle. Pours a brownish red with a small tan head that dissipates quickly. Does’t pour like much of a porter. Aroma is of chocolate, grass, malt, lactose, and coffee. Aroma isn’ t all that impressive. Taste is of grass, light chocolate, dairy creamer, and the slightest bit of coffee. Has a malt backbone that it buried in the brew. Mouthfeel is heavily carbonated and very watery. Lingering taste of grass. The flavors are very weak, the body is thin, and it drinks like carbonated water. What a waste. Headbanger (1583), Aurora, Illinois, USA

Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, slight chocolate, and sweetness. Taste of the same with a bit of hops and slight tartness. This light to medium bodied beer is not bad but does not fit a Porter in any way shape or form. guyinchicago (526), marengo, Illinois, USA

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | May 25, 2009 Pours dark copper and reddish with a tan head. Quite light for a porter. The aroma has nice dark rich malt, milk chocolate, vanilla and cream. The aroma did not get reflected in the taste though. Medium body that’s quite light with prickly sharp carbonation. The flavor starts with very thin cocoa, some green apple tartness and phenolic spice. The finish has spice and really doesn’t seem true-to-style at all. alexanderj (2248), Chino Hills, California, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | May 23, 2009 Bottle; poured a somewhat dark brown, but really not that much. Aroma was pretty light; a light roasted and coffee mix. Really not terrible tasting, but it really doesn’t come very close to the style. Caramel with a light roasted presence; some sweetness, but it tasted like it was there unintentionally. milewide (609), Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA
| 1.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 4/20 | May 20, 2009 100% non-porter! Light brown color similar to good IPAs. Really thin body and weak head. Taste was sweet, with no porter roasted malt or sourness. No hop bitterness either. Label called this a beer, but I believe that all true porters are ales. Bockyhorsey (2528), Mesa, Arizona, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | May 14, 2009 12oz bottle my niece brought for me to a family gathering. Over carbinated sweet aroma with some roast. Dark brown body with off white dirty head. Flavor had more carbination sweetness with some smoke and roasted nut flavor on finish. Still that sweetener lingered on the palate.
