Commercial Description:
Brewed in a traditional style, the Honey Ale is a golden blonde ale with a slight hop flavor and aroma. Highly carbonated with a thick frothy head and creamy texture, featuring a unique blend of 100% pure Wisconsin honey and three types of two row malted barley. Seasoned with four varieties of hops, the Honey Ale is truely one of the most interesting and unique craft beers available today.

This is a great beer for a hot sunny day! My wife buys this beer for her and I all the time from Millers in Verona, WI.

Light-bodied beer that isn’t all that beery. Not much ale flavor. More lagerish, IMHO. Nice sweetish honey aroma. Enjoyable, easy drinkin’ session brew.

Golden yellow, but very still, like a mountain lake at morning ... white foam topping. Musty old nose. Very malty essence ... very little sign of any honey here. Just an average beer.

Metallic, grassy aroma. Mild sweet hints. Kind of boring in the nose. Pale straw color thats transparent with a fizzy white head. Flavor is lacking. Very subdued mellow tones. I guess there are some hints of sweetness in the middle. Some light malts, but lacking any sort of hop kick. I prefer the Dundee’s to this.

Ultra-clear,pale honeyish hue, thick, fat fizzling white head, that zips down in nothing flat. Nose is softly herbal, lightly sweet and honeyed, a little citric, leaning into sour. Not crazy about it, really. Taste: too, too mild, bearing little in the flavor department, not even the advertised honey tastes. Very light bodied, short on texture, limp in the finish. Even irritating...I can’t find much to like in this one. So sorry, I really held up hope, but it’s just not working out. too, too blase’...cheers to anyone out there who digs this, but don’t count me among the crowd. I really like the bee on the label, though. Pity there’s no close-up available here, he’s really a demented looking bug!

"Hello? Hello taste?! Where are you?!" A borderline clear yellow with a little head. No real hops or malt and barely any honey taste. Not a winner.

On Tap: somewhat of a bummer as I was displeased with the watered down taste. No head and little to make me want another.
