A great beer to accompany a warm fire when it’s still cold as hell out in Wisconsin. Eat a steak with it too

Pours a clear deep amber with a nice off white head that leaves some lacing in my glass. Sweet malty bready aroma, nutty, fruity flavors, well balanced. Medium bodied with a crisp mouthfeel, finishes on the sweet side. The best I have had from this brewery so far, well done.

Dark orange amber color with a lighter tan head. Aroma of pipe tobacco, light toffee and malt. Very malty in flavor. Really something to chew on. Slightly sweet, mildly toasty, and a light alcohol finish. Leaves a nice malty after taste. I’ve had this before, but this seem better than prrevious batches.

bottle-hmm, i maybe one of the few people here that really liked this beer. clear deep copper hue with a small off-white head. light pine, apples, cherries, light mineral content, some light caramel malts with some huskiness. flavors show the good dose of hops-piney and lightly resiny. lots of apple sweetness, grain husk and some nice cherry notes as well. body holds up well and acentuates all the character in this fine session ale. finish is light and sweet. Very good!

Draught. Inviting toffee malt aromas, very light flowery hop traces. This is all about the malt, with the hops serving only to balance. Very nicely done, easy drinking for its size.

Thanks to Skyview! Copper color with a thin head. Sweet grain, bread and caramel aroma. Rich malt flavor. Moderate caramel and nut notes. Dry and earthy finish. Simple, but quite nice!

Picked up a single 12-oz bottle from Flanagan’s Liquors in Appleton, Wisconsin as "Gray’s Irish Style Ale." Pours a clear reddish amber brew with a thick and creamy off-white head. Nice lacing! Aroma of multi-grain malt with even a touch of dry rye, some grassy hops and some toffee. Taste is medium bodied, some little carbonation with flavors of caramel malt, some fruity character and mild spice hops. Finish has a good balance of malt and mild bitterness. Actually, this is a pretty decent Irish Ale.

Light brown or dark amber color, small head that faded fast.Nice malty aroma with hints of raisin and mild hops slightly sweet aroma as well.Malty caramel flavor with some very mild hints of hops fairly sweet. The after taste seems to be mostly caramel with some mildly detectable hops, but mostly sweet caramel.Nice mellow feel in the mouth,it's a bit sweeter then i like but over all it is a decent brew.
