Commercial Description:
Rich in color with a strong body and a very creamy texture, the Oatmeal Stout is a true beer lover's brew. The slight hop aroma distinguishes this stout from any other. The Oatmeal Stout is robust, full of body and flavor, and topped off with a creamy light brown head.

This is a good Sweet Stout. Roasty, sweet, and coffee flavors. Finishes rich, creamy, and smooth finish.

Thanks to Lumpy for this gem (I guess I got the good bottle). Any-who, Nice dark color with dark tan head. Taste is exactly as advertised, Oatmeal Stout, breakfast of Champions. Aroma is a bit dish rag but everything else is awesome.

Bottle. Very astringent metallic taste. Taste is like sucking on a penny. None of the descritions bellow describe this tatse, so maybe my bottle is bad. If it is, I will rerate. If it isn’t-avoid this stuff like the plague.

Definitly an ’Oatmeal’ Stout...while drinking you can think of nothing but. Sweet. Dark Coloring. Not bad overall

pours black with a very thin orange head. roasted aroma. bland slightly bitter taste.this is very disapointing.coffee taste is barely noticeable. does have a creamy quality but i’ve had better 5 2 5 2 8=2.2 rerate Bottle, fizzy black beer, the head fizzed brown for a second like an alka seltzer gone bad and then there was nothing, not a single bubble remained 3 seconds after pouring this. Looks like coke in my glass. Roasty biscuit nose. Light watery coffee flavor lingering burnt toast flavor in the finish. Very thin and a bit too much bitterness for my tastes in this. Ap-2 ar-5 tas-4 pal-2 ov-8=2.1

Deep brown hue with ruby highlights which porduced a good creamy head and very good lace. The aroma has notes of caramel and chocolate malts, hazelhut, grains and oats, floral hops, and a touch of coffee. The taste starts bittersweet with malty and lactic character. Undertones of mocha, vanilla, and lightly nutty. The finish is bitter with coffee tones. The mouthfeel is smooth and lively, a touch thin. Good and quaffable stout. Should have bought another bottle.

mellow smooth. Chocolate nutty mocha carmel syrup, roast barley and sweet oats. Nice mahogony deep brown and toasted head that stays around. Long satisfying finish. Thanks pigfoot for sample.

Completley opaque black body with a rocky tan head. The aroma is chocolate, roasted malts, some sweet lactic aromas also. The flavor is nice, what bitterness there is totally balanced by the smooth sweet flavors. The body is medium and creamy. The finish is quick but there is just enough lingering taste to keep the senses pleased. A good effort.
