Commercial Description:
This Belgian-Style Saison is a traditional ale brewed in Belgian farmhouses as a restorative for workers at the end of a long summer day. This ale is golden colored and uniquely complex. Look for aromas of orange and peach with an undertone of spices. Although light in body and highly carbonated, this ale is flavorful with spicy notes, fruit flavors and a light peppery finish. Available mid-July.

From a growler from Goldtwins. Grainy, peanut aroma, slight cilantro. Nice fluffy head. Chemically, bandaid flavor. Bleh.

on tap-pours a disappearing white head and gold color. Aroma is clove, barnyard, medium/light fruit, yeast, some malt. Taste is lots of clove (too much for me), barnyard, medium/light fruit, yeast, some malt, peppery. Good effervescence.

07.12.05 Tap at brewpub. Orangish gold with big white head that fades to nil. Light and tropical. Some spice on nose. Lots of spice on palate, maybe more than the malt can handle. Lots of citrus and some pineapple. Wet finish.
