29.04.06 Tap at TAPNY. This was some wild stuff, and I really expected it just to be a big porter or more like a dubbel, but it sure is as advertised with mostly qualities of a brown ale and yet the big 8% punch. Medium-dark brown with more carbonation than expected, but gently so with fine bubbles that only serve to enhance the already lithe body. Sweet across the middle with some nutty roasts. Nutty and dry to finish. A real winner from this underrated brewery.
