ChazyRPh (571), Chazy, New York, USA Nov 29, 2005 4 oz sample at the pub. Light brown clear pour, thin off white film. Maple sugar aroma, quite sweet. Sweet start with significant maple syrup presence. Roasted malt presence middle-finish. Maple melts away almost immediately after it slaps you in the face. A novelty beer, way too sweet to start. DYCSoccer17 (2040), Davis, California, USA Nov 23, 2005 On tap at the brewpub, I figured this was on the database so I didn’t write down the little description. 4 ounce sample. Wow, this smells very yummy. Lots of maple in the nose...smells like pancake breakfast. Sweet. Transparent light mahogany color with a small off-white head. Sweet, sugary maple-like start, which turns a bit roasty and metallic to finish. Very flavorful and enjoyable. This may not be the best balanced beer known to man, but I personally enjoyed it a lot and rated it accordingly.
