Commercial Description:
An India Pale Ale of ample strength with an assertive hop compliment. Named after Nevada's state fossil. Just say, "Gimme' an Icky!"

On-Tap at the Brewery (There for the 04’ Reno Air Races)
Brown ruby color with a light head & moderate lacing. The aroma is citrusy and dought with a light fruity hop character. The flavor is a touch bitter & balanced. Finishes brief & caramelly. Not an assertive IPA but decent.

Tap at the brewpub. The body was dark gold to copper with a white head. The aroma was light grapefruit and almonds . The taste was bread dough and bitter bread crust. There was also a little bit of grapefruit.

On tap @ Great Basin poured a clear amber with a small diminishing amber head. Aromas of citrus, floral, light earthiness and a hint of carmel. Palate was light bodied crisp and slightly dry. Flavors of grapefruit, carmel and light pine with a crisp lingering bitter finish.

Pale amber, lasting off white head.Fruity malt foretaste with medium strength lasting hop finish. Great Belgian lace. When I had it, it was called a Pale Ale, which it resembles more than an IPA
