Mar 14, 2008 Tap @ brewpub: Dark brown color. WOW! Great harsh coffee flavor wiith smoky cardboard aroma. Thin feel as to be expected for the style. Kicks Guiness in the teeth any day. I haven’t had the privilege of sampling that many dry stouts, but this was very nice.

Jun 2, 2005 On tap @ brewery. Almost black, DEEP reddish brown. Thin tan head with thin soso lace. Light aroma, yeast, toasted nuts, malty--molasses and caramel. Med-full body, creamy with a touch of a dry finish...touch watery character on finish. Yeasty sourdough flavor with burnt chocolate and oats. Fairly bitter. Smoothe and easy drinking.
