Commercial Description:
Dark and full-bodied, this is our interpretation of the classic English Porter style. Made with nine varieties of malt and assertively hopped, our porter is packed with flavor. Strong coffee and chocolate tones create a special brew for those advancing on the path of fine beer appreciation.

Black, a little cloudy, with great lacing. Tastes Guinness-like with chocolate, coffee, smoke. Creamy and characterful, long finish, tons of flavour. Really nice.

Black with a full tan head that became a ring. This beer offers well roasted malt. In my opinion it was over roasted and overpowered the coffee and chocolate. I love a good porter but this went over the top.

Growler courtesy of Pepsican. Big roasted malt aroma, light tart notes, chocolate and coffee. The body is full on black and holds a thinnish tan head. The first sip is all bitter black chocolate and roasted/burnt malt flavors. Coffee, espresso even, is also very prominent. The finish is intensely coffee/dark chocolate accented with some off-putting ashy notes. On the whole a fairly robust porter that has more roasted accents than the norm.

Very thick, chewy porter with lots of roast malt and coffee flavor. The only thing keeping this from being higher is it feels a bit unbalanced on the roasted end--but still a unique porter.

Full bodied, black porter, lots of roasted coffee aromas. Dark brown head smelled hoppy, and it had a very malty aroma. the finish was long and dry on the palate.

Black with a thin tan head. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, coffee and smoke. Thick, rich and flavorful taste of roasted malts, coffee with a mild bitter finish and a bit of sweetness to it as well. One of the better efforts of the brewpub.

Really rich toffee & caramel nose, some milkiness. Flavor is a hint of burnt malt, a whole bunch of chocolate & toffee and quite hoppy.

Courtesy of Degarth. Thanks again buddy. Growler pours stout beer black with thin tan head. Smells awesome right from the start. I get rich dark roasted malts, some burnt malts, burnt toast, roasted coffe beans and graham crackers. The taste starts with mildly dark roasted malts and quickly ramps up into rich roastiness, burnt malts, dark roasted coffee and toasted bread. The roasty taste just goes on and on deep into the after taste. I start to wonder if this is more a stout in style.
