Draft at the brewpub. They told me it was 8.2% ABV. Pours a cloudy orange golden with a short-lived 1/2 finger off-white head. Aroma of clove and banana, caramel and light toasted malt. After warming I got a bit of vanilla. Flavor was much the same with some lemon tang up front--a nice sweet tangy battle going on. Light sharp carbonation with a medium body. Pretty good.

On tap.
Pours a deep, dark, intensely hazy, nearly opaque amber with white fluffy head. Aroma is of tart citrus and sourdough bread. Flavor is sharp & tart at first, then there’s a huge kick of intense malt sweetness. Bready, malty and earthy with a small contribution from earthy, lightly spicy hops. Big thick sweet sticky palate. This stuff rocks.

Fruity banana aroma with a nice spicy wheat twist. Cloudy amber with a thin, white head that diminishes. Funky, spicy clove and banana flavor with a toasted caramel malt finish. Very flavorful. Medium body, creamy palate. Like the others have said, like a stronger crop circle wheat but with a slight dunkel flavor.

Hazy yellow color with a thin head. Wheat aroma. Good flavor of bananas, wheat, and malt. Fairly sweet overall. Tasty, very tasty!

Rerate for 2006 - same color/head but aroma of clove and a strong butterscotch and bubblegum aroma that was offputting for me. Sour. Worse than ’04 version. That was 2005 - 2006 is much improved with sharp, but well crafted honey/clover/banana..good job! Cloudy mango pr peach juice color with a citrusy nose and slight acidic aroma. Nice thin white head. Hot alcohol up front, followed by lemon, vanilla, banana and cinnnamon. Not really fruity though despite the description. The dryness makes it refreshing for a big beer. Agree with tomxcs that it is like a Crop Circle squared, because it is light in body, but still large in flavor.

Cloudy straw color with a smaller white head. Aromas of sweet wheat, light bananas and a touch of alcohol. Mild malt and banana flavors with a touch of spice in the backdrop. For the ABV this is a dangerous wheat. Quite drinkable.

This is basically Great Dane Crop Circle Wheat x 2. Thankfully the bartender didn’t put a lemon in it as they always do with the Crop Circle Wheat! They wouldn’t serve me a pint, just a 10oz. or so glass. It was okay. Very, very cloudy, somewhat citrusy, and refreshing. Light feeling but packing a punch. The flavors and aroma seemed rather subdued and could have been stronger.
