phishpond417 (1861), Madison, Wisconsin, USA Jul 5, 2009 Didn’t expect to like this that much as it’s not really my style. Poured a clear yellow colour. small creamy white head. Prevalent corn and hops aroma. Taste was dissapointing. Watery and lackluster- it had no character. Way too much on the malts. drpimento (785), La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA Sep 3, 2005 Pours with a light head and has the appearance, indeed all the characteristics of the classic cream ale. They got it down with this one. It has a better taste than most cream ales I’ve had. It’s very fresh and smooth. Has just a bit of lace. Clean finish that a bit warming. Had it downtown La Crosse at the Bodega. jewedekind (450), Middleton, Wisconsin, USA May 1, 2004 This was as good as this beer gets. A mouthful of malt with a slight sweetness. The smallest hint of hops, but like a good loogie on your tongue. GermanBrews76 (667), Eugene, Oregon, USA Feb 5, 2004 pale straw body, almost no carbonation, sparse tight white head. Dry, somewhat fruity and maybe a floral hint. corn and cornflakes. Like a piss poor pils. dry, but creamy it is not. JPDIPSO (4865), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA Jan 6, 2004 Straw color with a smaller white head. Very light aroma of corn and malt. Heavy corn and "unclean" malt flavors. Did they hok up a keg of Milwaukee's Best? Not what I would expect.
