May 19, 2008 Served on draught at the Wisconsin Micro-brewers Beerfest in Chilton, Wisconsin. Pours a semi-hazy light golden brew with a thin white head that slowly dissipates to a fine film and white ring. Aroma of light golden grain malt, some yeast, banana esters, cloves and a touch of lemon zest. Taste is light to medium bodied, some carbonation with flavors of golden grain malt with wheat, some banana esters, a touch of cloves with lemon and citrus zest. Finish has a good balance of sweet and dry aftertaste flavors that slowly disappears to a crisp finish.

Feb 5, 2008 Had this one on draught as part of a four-sampler at the brewpub in Madison, Wisconsin. Opaque, light orange pour with a thick white head, clovey and banana in the nose, lemony and corriander spice. Milky finish. Not bad.

Dec 27, 2007 Served with lemon, which was removed before rating. Cloudy yellow with thin white head,, strong yeasty/banana aroma, smooth, acidic, long after taste of banana. A good example of style.

Nov 18, 2007 On tap at the brewpub on 6/22/07: Pours a cloudy murky yellow with a thin ring of white head. Aroma of lightly sweet wheat with a mild lemon citrus presence and some clove and German yeast. Body starts with nice bready fullness and wheaty sweetness well-balanced with a touch of peppery clove and citrus before a smooth, yet flavorful finish. A nice hefeweizen.

Oct 4, 2007 Sampled at the Great Dane - Madison Airport. Served (without asking if it’s OK) with a fruit wedge. Sigh... Pours the cloudiest beer I have ever laid eyes upon. So cloudy and murky and thick...yet still exhibits remarkable brightness and sunshiney character. Illuminated from within with a 100-watt bulb. A luminescent golden orange color with a fluffy head of off-white. Aromas are sweet and fruity; lemons, oranges, wheaty. Mild banana and little clove. Yeastiness is solid but not overbearing. Flavors mirror the aromas with the same attributes. The large 20-ounce went down quickly before my meal ever arrived. I was shocked how this beer was dispatched down my gullet.

Jul 23, 2007 On tap at the Great Dane Brew Pub (Downtown Madison Location). Poured a medium and cloudy/murky golden color with a small sized white head. Served to me with a lemon slice. Aromas of lemons (hmmm), cloves and bananas. Tastes follow with some wheatiness.
