Nitro pour, Dark brown with creamy off-white ehad. The aroma is light, nitro-metallic, roast. The flavor is light roast and dry. The mouthfeel is thin with nitro-creamy.

Brown to copper color. Ring of white foam. Caramel and coffee aromas. Similar flavors. A session type brew. Nothing exciting, but certainly would get on your nerves after a run with it.

Pours a moderately dark transluscent ruby-brown. The thin white head that forms on pour is not terribly impressive but the clumps of webby lacing it leaves sure is. Aroma is dominated by lightly toasted grain backed up with mild hop bitterness and a hint of dried fruit. Flavor is grainy, dry, nutty with moderate hop support and a surprising dose of dried tart fruit -- a bit of dried cranberry perhaps. Medium-thin body, flat & slighlty watery palate as is expected for the style, especially from a beer engine. Nothing groundbreaking; nonetheless a pleasant little brew I would certainly order again. Rated a bit harshly here IMO.

cask at great dane downtown. I thought the flavor was metallic. Definitely weak carbonation. boring and pointless. not a good brew from Great Dane.

Nice aroma of caramel and toffee with a hint of butter and very light coffee. Very dark brown with a thin beige head. Chocolaty malt flavor, fairly simple. Increadibly thin body, very water.

Served out of a cask at the Madison location. Poured a medium brown with little discernable head. Very pleasant aroma, consisting of fruit (grapes & apples) and a little caramel. Beer is light bodied, and seemed to be missing a little carbonation (I know it was cask-conditioned, but I believe that I caught the bottom of a barrel). Hop flavor was pleasant, but sweet malt was a little stronger. Decent beer, and I appreciate the effort of attempting this style and presentation from Great Dane!

Cask. Dark ruby brown color, no head except for a few bubbles. Sweet, malty nose with too much of a prune aroma. Syrupy, flat (of course), with raisin notes and tons of malty sweetness. Although I wasn’t fond of this beer, I’m glad that the Great Dane is attempting beers like this.

Cask. Dark red color with no head. A hint of orange for the nose. Little bits of malt in the taste with a floral finish. Creamy. A good and tasty session beer.
