Commercial Description:
Special hop characteristics are brought out through a process called "dry-hopping", wher raw hops are added directly to the lagering brew. Experience this smooth blend of slightly sweet malt flavors balanced by the full taste and aroma of the renowned Hallertau hop.

Sample at Pub. Amber body with white head good lacing. Hop aroma and flavor with some hop kick on finish.

Very hoppy, sugary aroma. Flavor is also all about the hops, but they’re biting and astringent. Poor balance between the hops and malts, the sugary toffee malts don’t match the hop taste at all. Looks and smells nice, at least.

Translucent amber with a persistent creamy white head. Scotch and cedar aroma. Toasted pecan flavor and mild toffee characteristics. Lighter than expected. A decent session; over-hopped to throw off the balance. Starchy, malty and sharp spruce nodes. Eh.

Smooth, sweet, and pretty hoppy. Malt and hops definitely evident. A good beer. This beer should probably be in the Premium Lager category.

Sample at the brewpub. Cloudy dark amber, thick creamy head. Faint malty, apple-lemon nose, really very little there. Beautiful silky mouthfeel helps to redeem, as does the excellent balance of flavors: chocolate, apples, smoking leaves, caramel. Smokily bitter towards the end. Certainly near the very top of this category.

Had at the Great Dane in Madson. Clean and smooth...Hops. Nothing sets it above. Beats Leine’s Red.

Another beer I really didn’t have much written down for. However, I do remember this is when they started to hit me, as I started making jokes about the name of this one.

A really clean and quaffable beer. The nitrogen may not help the bring the flavor forward, but it adds a fullness and mouthfeel that makes this a very quaffable beer. A nice caramel or toasted flavor, with a well proprotioned hop character. This is no barnstormer, but a well made and likable brew.
