Draft sample at Tap Room, 8/12/08, Denver, CO. Pours hazy yellow, small white head. Nose is sweet, honey. Taste is honey, raisin, bread, alcohol. Not bad.

12oz bottle(10/00)-A cloudy gold with a small head and an aroma of honey, a little citrus, and malt. Taste of a light body with honey, citrus, and malts. Not a big honey fan and this didn’t do much for me.

Had this beer on 11/15/1999. Color is a lightly burnt orange, with low carbonation and head. Aroma is a bit skunky. It starts with a light body that goes down with a skunky feel coming on. Finish is covered by the skunky flavor. Its just bad.

2003, consumed in late 03. 12ozbtl. Light, very dry, almost astringent honey aroma. Very soft mouthfeel, too thin in a stark contrast to a somewhat promising appearance. Glad this was discontinued, not up to the caliber of today’s Great Divide beers.

There’s a huge, dense creamy head on this golden ale. The aroma is very light, sweet malt, some tangerine and orange. The taste is clean and fresh, but very mild on the flavor. Soft malts, a honeyed sweetness, and a faint touch of citric tartness. Not very interesting.

Retired? Purchased a 12 oz bottle on 1/17/06 at Party Town in Florence, KY. Pours cloudy gold with a HUGE foamy head that dissapates quickly. A little citrus in the taste, but nothing else. Blah.

That smells good. Honey, baked bread, malt and some citrus. pale gold with a decently sized white head. Watery and mildly sweet with little else happening except an admirable moutfeel.
